In the area of cosmetic medicine, Dr Agnes specialises in cosmetic injectables such as muscle relaxants and dermal fillers to correct volume loss, restore symmetry and enhance facial features. The main aim is to help patients look fresher while maintaining a natural appearance. She furthers her knowledge in the evolving field of cosmetic medicine by regularly attending workshops, training and conferences to ensure current procedures and protocols are implemented into her daily practice. Dr Agnes also trains and provides medical supervision to cosmetic nurse injectors.
In the area of nutritional medicine, Dr Agnes uses the principles of nutritional medicine to restore balance to the body and enhance cellular renewal, as the foundation of anti-ageing medicine. Dr Agnes has a special interest in the microbiome and gut health, in particular, how they relate to the development and management of weight disorders, inflammation and autoimmune disease. Her practice therefore largely focusses on the use of nutritionals to assist with gut health, immune function and weight loss. She believes that a diverse and healthy microbiome is not only the foundation of successful weight loss and long-term maintenance but also of good health and longevity. While furthering her knowledge in this evolving field, Dr Agnes developed a simple gut-healing program for her patients and over the years, has presented and implemented her protocol at several clinics in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and the Gold Coast. She has updated her original protocol to incorporate findings from current research into the impact of the microbiota on health and disease. Her new program, BiomeMD®, is a comprehensive and educational gut-healing protocol that uses dietary modifications along with nutrient formulations to improve microbial diversity and immune function as the foundation to restoring physiological balance and facilitating successful weight management. Dr Agnes has curated a series of educational webinars for health practitioners and her protocol is now offered at various clinics across Australia.
By combining nutrient therapies with cosmetic procedures, Dr Agnes is able to provide a more comprehensive anti-ageing approach and therefore more natural and longer-lasting results.
